Staff from Glenveagh National Park and NPWS were presented with Long Service Awards at a special event which was held recently. Careers in administration, maintenance, visitor services, horticulture and conservation were celebrated, showcasing the myriad of work that keeps Irelands National Parks to the forefront of excellence in public service. Celebrating over thirty years service were:- Grace Neely, Denis Lafferty, Rosaleen Nelis, Michael McDaid, Mark McFadden and Trés Connaghan. Meanwhile, with more than forty years service each in NPWS, special recognition went to James McGinley (retired), Mary Gallagher, Bernard Gallagher and Mary Nelis.
