Glenveagh National Park is set to host its Biodiversity Week Festival, ‘Le Chéile don Dúlra’ now in its second year, following a huge success in 2025. Dates this year are 17th – 24th May. The programme of events celebrate this unique landscape, its history, people, nature and conservation, with a special emphasis on the arts. The Park will act as a venue to bring together professionals working for nature, artists, facilitators, musicians and craftspeople along with Park staff. Everyone visiting Glenveagh during the festival will experience a meaningful encounter with what it means to be in a National Park, part of the Natura 2000 Network – the largest nature protection network in the world. This year there will be a special emphasis on Native Irish Woodlands.
